Scholarship recipients will receive the following benefits:

  • Pre-Departure Training in Indonesia.
  • Round-trip flight tickets to the training location in Indonesia.

Australia Awards Scholarship Application Requirement

AAS Scholarship

The application requirements for an AAS scholarship from Indonesia are as follows:

For Master’s Degree (S-2):

  • Choose a study field related to development priorities (health, security, or economic recovery).
  • Possess a bachelor’s degree.
  • Minimum GPA of 2.9 (for specific geographic focus areas or disabled applicants, minimum GPA of 2.75).
  • Minimum English language proficiency of 5.5 IELTS (or equivalent TOEFL).
  • Priority is given to faculty members, higher education institutions, researchers, policymakers, and partner institutions of the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade.
  • English language test results must be valid within the past 2 years.

For Doctoral Degree (S-3):

  • Choose a study field related to development priorities.
  • Possess a master’s degree.
  • Minimum GPA of 2.9 (for specific geographic focus areas or disabled applicants, minimum GPA of 2.75).
  • Minimum English language proficiency of 6.0 IELTS (or equivalent TOEFL).
  • Have communicated with a potential supervisor at an Australian university.
  • Completed at least 25% of research components in the master’s program.
  • Priority is given to faculty members, higher education institutions, researchers, policymakers, and partner institutions of the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade.
  • English language test results must be valid within the past 2 years.

  • Copy of birth certificate or equivalent.
  • Proof of citizenship (ID card or passport information).
  • Updated curriculum vitae.

  • Latest English language test results (IELTS, Ultimate Education, or academic PTE).
