• A living allowance of NZ$491 per week, intended to cover basic living expenses for the scholar only
• An establishment allowance of NZ$3000 to assist with initial setup costs in New Zealand

• Support for one or two trips home during the scholarship, depending on its duration
• Assistance with research and thesis expenses for many postgraduate students
